This policy applies to the Pet Shark Android app and 3D live wallpaper ("Pet Shark", "we", "our"), developed by [your name or company]. It explains what happens to your information when you use the app. The short answer is that we never receive it.
What we collect
Nothing. Pet Shark has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers that receive data from your device. In particular, we do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers or any other personal information
- Device identifiers, advertising IDs or your location
- Usage analytics, behavior profiles or crash reports sent from the app
Because we collect no data, we have none to sell, rent, share or lose in a breach.
What stays on your phone
Your in-app settings, such as the frame rate limit, render scale and caustics toggle, are saved locally on your device so the app remembers them. They are never transmitted to us or anyone else, and uninstalling Pet Shark removes them.
All 3D models, textures, shaders and audio are bundled inside the app, so it works fully offline, including in airplane mode.
Permissions
Pet Shark does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or files. When you set it as a live wallpaper, Android's own system wallpaper screen handles the confirmation, and the app only draws the animation behind your icons. It stops rendering when your screen turns off or another app opens.
Third parties
Pet Shark contains no advertising networks (such as AdMob, Unity Ads or AppLovin), no analytics or attribution SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK or Adjust), and no in-app purchases.
The app is distributed through Google Play. Google may collect information when you download or rate the app, and may share aggregate install or crash statistics with us if you have chosen to share diagnostics with Google. That collection is done by Google under the Google Privacy Policy, not by the app.
Children
Pet Shark is free of ads, purchases, accounts and data collection, so there is nothing for a child to share with us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 or under the age set by local law.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete or export your personal data. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing to retrieve or erase. If you believe we hold information about you anyway, contact us below and we will respond promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how Pet Shark handles information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date at the top before the change takes effect. We will not add data collection, ads or trackers without clearly telling you here first.
